Solid Set Studios

I’m Jake, the designer behind Solid Set Studios.
I’ve spent years working hands-on as a licensed general contractor in residential construction, which means I understand what it takes to turn a set of drawings into an actual home. That background shapes everything I do; every line, every note, every detail on your plans is drawn with the builder and permitting process in mind.

My goal is simple: to make building easier by producing clear, accurate, and code-compliant plans that eliminate confusion on site.

Every builder has their own standards and I adapt to match them. I keep communication simple and direct: you send your ideas, sketches, or redlines, and I’ll handle the rest. Most projects move from initial concept to permit-ready plan within days, not weeks.

Because I work remotely, I can draft for any location in the U.S., tailoring each plan to your state or city’s code requirements. I often collaborate directly with engineers when a stamp or structural input is needed.

I understand that a plan set isn’t just paper, it’s the foundation for someone’s home or business. That’s why clarity, accuracy, and practicality are at the core of every project I deliver.
